Daniela Cohen

Daniela Cohen is an Associate in the Employment Group.

She is involved in both contentious and non-contentious employment work for a diverse range of clients, particularly within the media and fashion sectors.  Daniela’s skills not only complement the expertise of in-house HR and Legal teams, but also provide businesses without formal HR assistance with the step by step guidance they require.

Recent work includes:

• Advising both Claimants and Respondents with regard to employment litigation including High Court proceedings
• Drafting a full suite of employment documents for new and existing businesses
• Providing strategic advice to both employees and employers on thorny employment issues such as restructures and enforcing restrictive covenants
• Providing corporate assistance on the employment aspects of investment projects

Daniela also devises sophisticated in-house training programs, co-ordinates multi-jurisdictional advice for European and US clients and prepares guidance on various employment issues, including flexible working arrangements, disciplinary and grievance procedures and changes to terms and conditions.

Daniela presents workshops and presentations on key employment law issues to both employer and employee clients.  Her recent presentations have focused on retaining and incentivising employees and employment status issues.
