Jane Hardy

Jane Hardy is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution Group.

She advises a large number of commercial clients on breach of contract, distributorship agreements and enforcement of information technology agreements, as well as advising on infringements of clients copy rights.

She also acts for commercial property clients advising on the restrictions in leases for both landlords and tenants, dilapidations proceedings, recovery of outstanding rent and service charges and enforcement of lease terms.

Recent work includes:

• Successfully obtaining substantial payments for management companies of musicians in two High Court claims this year
• Acting for the Estate of a musician in the High Court to recover disputed possessions and defend an Inheritance Act claim on the Estate
• Recovering six figure damages for a motorsports personality based on a loss of a chance arising from a personal injury

Jane’s experience has assisted her clients in successfully resolving disputes either through the courts or in a commercial mediation forum.
