Tahir Basheer
Tahir's commercial legal practice focuses on the management, exploitation and protection of intellectual property rights across all areas of media and entertainment including music, computer games, e-commerce, sport, fashion and merchandising.
He advises a range of corporate and private clients both within the UK and abroad on everything from trademarks to the development of new business models and distribution channels. His clients range from corporate entities, entrepreneurs, high net worth individuals, up and coming artistes, musicians, designers and creative industry management teams.
Tahir founded the firm's Technology practice and has built a reputation for highly commercial advice in digital media. He is a member of the International Association of Entertainment Lawyers, a guest lecturer at Kings College London University for Creative Business Entrepreneur students and a member of the Fashion Business Club. He is also a pro bono adviser for various international charities and trusts and has spoken at a number of conferences and seminars on rights exploitation both within the UK and overseas.
