Cyril Glasser
Cyril Glasser is our former Managing Partner and is now a consultant with the firm. He has been a member of the Council of the Law Society and remains a visiting Professor of Law at University College, London teaching an LLM Course in civil litigation since 1987. He has also worked in the Lord Chancellor’s office. In 1999 he was the first private practice solicitor to be appointed a Companion of St Michael & St George for services to International Law and Justice. He is currently a Governor of the LSE.
During his career Cyril specialized in heavy litigation and advice in entertainment and media, defamation, public law, local authorities, education and charities and has been involved in high profile cases in those areas. He has represented many well known public figures, leading popular music artists and composers. He has been solicitor to the Press Complaints Commission since its establishment in 1991. His wide experience and technical expertise continues to be provided to the firm and its clients.
