Jeremy Roberts
Jeremy is a commercial lawyer specialising in the media, entertainment and creative
industries.
He is a partner in the Film and TV group focusing on the financing, production and
exploitation of film, TV and online content. His practice also includes sports,
sponsorship, advertising and the visual arts.
Recent work includes advising Channel Four on their 4iP investment agreements, RDF
Media on a £10m UK / Canada co-production for the BBC, the Indian Cricket League on
their dispute with the ECB and the ICC, and the Sony World Photography Awards on
their sponsorship arrangements.
He is listed as a Leading Individual for Film and TV Finance and Production in the
Chambers and Partners Guide to the UK Legal Profession, where he is described as a
"highly polished operator who is respected for his straight-talking approach and
comprehensive knowledge".
Jeremy also provides corporate and strategic advice. Prior to joining Sheridans, he
was Director of Legal and Commercial Affairs / Company Secretary at one of the UK's
leading rights management companies where he advised on three rounds of fundraising
and oversaw various company acquisitions.
