Peter McInerney
Peter is head of the firm's Film, TV and Sport practices.
He gives legal, commercial and regulatory advice to clients involved in the creation and exploitation of content via television, online, mobile, on stage and in cinemas.
Chambers Guide to the UK Legal Profession have described him as a "fantastic lawyer", "well connected" and "an excellent sounding board for strategic advice".
He has particular expertise in structuring international co-productions and the licensing of formats and sports rights. He also advises clients on effective rights management, rights audits and the clearance and exploitation of archives.
Clients include Channel 4, the Royal Shakespeare Company, National Geographic, Five, Mattel, WGBH in Boston, Finance Wales and the GAA (Hurling and Gaelic Football).
He is currently involved in advising on the development of broadband channels by rights owners, arts organisations and independent producers.
Peter McInerney is on the Investment Committee of the Wales Creative IP Fund and recently led the Watford Palace Theatre through its successful re-organisation.
