Robin Hilton

Robin advises a wide range of individual and corporate clients on the development, production, financing, distribution and exploitation of all forms of audio-visual content including feature films, television programmes and online content. He is regularly instructed on talent and executive deals, international co-productions, joint ventures and commercial transactions, television formats, digital distribution, publishing matters, and on intellectual property and copyright generally.

Having begun his career in advertising, Robin is interested in the convergence of brands, content and delivery platforms, such as sponsored events, ad-funded content and cross-promotions.

Recent films on which Robin has advised include Man On Wire, Clubbed, City of Ember, Phantom of the Opera, Amazing Grace and Mike Leigh’s Happy-Go-Lucky. Recent television projects include matters for Shed, RDF, Pioneer, Carnival and the Wales Creative IP Fund. He speaks at conferences in the UK and abroad, and lectures at the University of Westminster.

Robin is listed as a Legal Expert in the Film, Film Finance, TV and Theatre section of the Legal Business publication.
