Robin Hilton

As a commercial media lawyer, Robin advises a wide range of clients in the creative industries on all aspects and forms of audio-visual content, including feature films, television programmes and online content. His practice also covers brands, fashion and advertising work.

He is regularly instructed on talent and executive deals, international co-productions, joint ventures and commercial transactions, television formats, digital distribution, publishing matters and on intellectual property and copyright, generally.

Having begun his career in advertising, Robin's practice is increasingly focussed upon the convergence of brands, content and delivery platforms, such as advertiser-funded content, online activity, sponsorship and digital projects.

Films on which Robin has recently advised include the Academy Award and BAFTA-winning Man On Wire, Crying with Laughter, L'Illusioniste and The Tempest (Helen Mirren).  Recent television projects include matters for Pioneer Productions, Optomen and the Wales Creative IP Fund. He speaks at conferences in the UK and abroad and lectures at the University of Westminster.

Robin is listed as a Legal Expert in the Legal Business publication.
