Sheridans has been actively involved in theatre work for over 25 years. Since then its dedicated Theatre Group has continued to expand and is proud of the fact that clients it started working with as 'unknowns' are now international success stories with whom its relationship continues.

Ranked by Chambers & Partners  in the second tier of law firms for theatre law, the team's members are singled out as being a vital part of transactions and having "real flare for the nuts and bolts" of what their clients do.

The group continues to act for renowned theatre producers: Andrew Lloyd Webber, The Really Useful Group, Littlestar Services Limited (producers of Mamma Mia!), and other producers such as Key Concerts & Entertainment Limited (Thriller Live), Rock of Ages London Limited and The Digital Theatre Consortium. The group also advises individuals such as orchestrators, directors, choreographers, authors and other key creatives.

The Theatre Group undertakes all types of theatrical work, and - due to Sheridans' other specialisms of music, film and TV - is especially well known for its work on musicals. Working closely with external advisers to structure commercially practicable and tax efficient ways of producing shows, the group advises on all required contracts from investment agreements and creative team agreements through to cast and crew documents.
