Our people make up the Sheridans community and our continued success is down to our collaborative efforts in aiding our clients. We seek those who are ambitious and looking to elevate their career, either providing expert legal advice or supporting our Firm within the business services and support staff functions. In return, we offer countless development opportunities and a progressive, diverse and collegiate working environment.
Why join Sheridans?
Sheridans is committed to help grow your career. We have a strong track record of our lawyers training with us and progressing to Partnership level, but also those in our business services teams being encouraged to develop within their own departments. We take an open-minded approach when considering external professional qualifications and how these can benefit our people, as well as the Firm as we continue to evolve.
We take training and support seriously at Sheridans. We have knowledgeable Partners and teams who are willing to go the extra mile to nurture, guide and support our talented individuals. Your development will consist primarily of on-the-job training and legal or sector know-how provided by your department. We have also developed our own in-house Associate Development Programme where self-study is encouraged alongside attendance at periodic seminars on business development and personal development skills. Our mentor scheme is also well received; one formal meeting a year with your appointed mentor – no paperwork or form-filling. The meeting is simply an opportunity for you to discuss your personal development, training and career, in confidence.
Supporting a wide range of clients, you will often be working on stimulating, technical matters. Our clients are often impressive, whether they be recognisable names in popular or sporting culture or entrepreneurial start ups to name but a few. You will be making a real difference from day one with direct client contact and no two days will be the same.
Our people are able to combine in-person collaboration with remote working. Dependent on role, currently this means 3 days per week working within our Soho, London office with the remainder from home. However, our office space is accessible Monday to Friday for those seeking to come in more frequently.
The firm appreciates that we all bring something different to work with regard to background and culture. Not only is it right that that our people should feel empowered to bring their whole selves to work and difference is celebrated, it also makes business sense as diverse individuals are better able to cater to the needs of our wide-ranging client base.
We offer our people a range of additional benefits to reflect our continued consideration towards employee wellbeing. From a discretionary bonus scheme, contributory pension scheme, cycle to work scheme, health insurance, life assurance, interest- free season ticket loan, discounted conveyancing and gym membership, to a day off for when you move house or get married or enter into a civil partnership. We also host regular Firm-wide social events, including in-office breakfast once per week, monthly socials and our Christmas and Summer parties.
Sheridans is proud to offer a market benchmarked, competitive salary for all our people.

Early Talent Opportunities
Speculative applications
Not seeing a suitable current opportunity? We are always searching for the best talent and would like to hear from you. Please submit your details, including a copy of your CV, via email to recruitment@sheridans.co.uk. With your permission, we will hold these on file and be in touch should a suitable opportunity arise in future.
We ask that all application materials — including your CV, cover letter, written responses, and any supporting evidence — reflect your own words, experience, and thinking. The use of artificial intelligence tools (such as large language model chatbots or AI writing assistants) to generate or substantially draft any part of your application is not permitted. This policy exists because we are committed to assessing candidates authentically: your application is our first opportunity to understand your genuine skills, communication style, and suitability for the role, and AI-generated content undermines that process for both parties. The use of basic tools such as spell-checkers or grammar-checking software is acceptable, provided the substance and expression of your application remain entirely your own. Where we have reasonable grounds to believe that prohibited AI tools have been used, we reserve the right to disqualify an application at any stage of the process.
