Andrew Nixon is a Partner in the Sport Group.

Andrew’s practice focuses principally on the sports, gaming and wider entertainment sectors, in particular sports tech, digital media, sports data, AI, music and esports. Andrew’s clients include rights holders, sports data companies, sports and esports teams and orgs, game developers, international and domestic governing bodies, agencies, sponsors, and individual athletes and talent.

As well as his commercial and non-contentious regulatory work, Andrew is a highly experienced dispute resolution lawyer, representing entertainment sector clients on a wide range of contentious matters, including in domestic and international litigation and arbitration. He is also well known for his expertise in international and domestic sports governance.

Andrew has written for numerous publications and is also regularly called upon as an expert and lecturer in sports and gaming law by media outlets, conference organisers and universities.
