James Stewart is a Partner in the Tax Group.
James is a tax partner and maintains a broad tax practice, specialising in the tax aspects of corporate and real estate transactions, including advice on corporation tax, stamp taxes, venture capital tax reliefs and VAT. James also has experience advising on the handling of HM Revenue & Customs information requests.
As well as providing tax advice, James has significant experience negotiating the tax aspects of M&A, venture capital, debt finance and commercial property transactions. James works closely with lawyers across Sheridans to deliver fully integrated tax advice as part of the firm’s overall offering to clients.
James advises clients across a wide range of sectors, with particular focus on the technology sector.
